MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 40

The Blog returns with the what we like to not-at-all-dramatically call Mystery Jam XL! Just like every week, we will be playing for an MP3 download courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. As always, you need to correctly identify the song and the date to win. Post your guess in the comments. One guess per person per day (with the second “day” starting after I post the hint). The hint will come on Tuesday and the answer will be posted on Wednesday. Tuesday Hint: It is not "Mike's Song."

Wednesday Answer: RabeldyNugs takes it for the second straight week by correctly identifying the 12/8/94 "Simple." Now excuse me while I go disable your account. Serously, nice work, I think this definitely qualified as a tough one. See you all next Monday...

That could be pulled from any Mike's 93-94. For lack of a better guess, I'll go with the 4/10/93 from Aragon Ballroom. I do recall that one being a monster.

DONE + DONE, Just like last week. I was away yesterday and forgot but here we go. After hearing it, it took me 1 minute bc i knew the Catapult jam as it's one of my favs.

To get even more specific, it's part of the 1st jam section in Simple, before the segue into Catapult of 12/8/1994 Set I.

I really don't think its from 94. It's at the tip of my tongue but can't remember. Pretty sure 97 and it IS either Simple or Mike's. Mabye it's Speckles..Have to go listen to that.

That's not '94 style jamming. Definitely '96. There are hints of the monster Mike's from 8/13/96. So I'll change mine to Simple from 8/16/96.

Definetlty not that Simple from the Ball as that's one of my fav Mike's Grooves ever and I hear it all the time, along with the DWD in the 3rd set.
But I am telling you guys that it's gotta be my call of Simple 12/8/94 in set I. There's a Matrix of this show circulating and is really hot, get it for this Simple as well as the 2nd set Reba that nearly hits 20 min. Go listen! I didn't even check my tapes yet to confirm but I know that jam and the catapult that comes after. Rockin' shit!
